According to a recent survey commissioned by the magazine Baby and Family, 60 percent of adolescents and adults at least occasionally use homeopathic remedies. GfK Marktforschung Nürnberg surveyed 2,183 people aged 14 and over. For women (41.4 percent), homeopathy is much more popular than for men (18.3 percent).

75.3 percent of women and 62 percent of men are convinced that the healing method is becoming increasingly important. There is also a high level of approval regarding the assessment of side effects. 64 percent of female respondents are convinced that homeopathy has few side effects, even 55 percent of men are safe there. On research, men are more skeptical than women, with only 40 percent of respondents believing that the effectiveness of homeopathic medicines is as well researched as that of others
