The number of users of homeopathic medicines continues to increase. This was the result of a survey by the Allensbach Institute for Demoscopy, which was commissioned by the Federal Association of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers (BAH).
The data shows that homeopathic medicines are becoming increasingly popular in Germany. In the last five years, the number of homeopathic users has grown significantly, from 53% to 60% of the population. Women and citizens from the western federal states resort to funds more often than average.
Almost nine out of ten users have already helped homeopathic remedies by their own perception. By far the most common homeopathic remedies have been used successfully for colds and flu infections. (Pm)
