Homeopathy Health benefits are reimbursed in the new IKK classic

In August this year emerged from the „United IKK“ and the „IKK classic“ the „new IKK classic“. Both health insurances merged to be better able to survive on the cash market. The merger has given rise to some benefits for the former insured of the IKK. With contract doctors, IKK classic patients can now take advantage of homeopathy treatments.

Homeopathy With immediate effect, insured persons of the new IKK classic can now take advantage of their health card from contract physicians nationwide. So far, the old United IKK had not reimbursed homeopathic treatments. The merger will now also offer health services that previously did not exist in the service catalog of the old United IKK. Prerequisite for reimbursement is the special additional qualification of the homeopathic doctor. The cash register is available for complex initial and follow-up discussions. However, the prescribed homeopathic remedies or naturopathic treatments must be paid out of pocket by the IKK classic insured persons like all other health insured patients. Further questions in particular to the reimbursable achievements gives the health insurance itself. (Sb)
