In the election to the representative meeting of the Kassenärztliche Vereinigung Bayerns (KVB), the list of the Bayerische Hausärzteverband with its leading candidate Dr. med. Wolfgang Hoppenthaller has been confirmed as the strongest faction. This is a „clear vote of the family doctors for the system change“, explained Dr. Hoppenthaller following the election.
For the election of one of the 50 seats in the KVB representative meeting over 500 candidates submitted to eleven medical and four psychotherapeutic lists, with the turnout among physicians was around 70 percent and among psychotherapists at about 80 percent. Of the total of 50 members of the Representatives' Meeting, the Bavarian Association of General Practitioners will in future provide 21. Dr. Hoppenthaller claimed a seat on the KV board in view of the election results. „We need this board of directors in order to smoothly carry out the system change, that is, the exit from this corporate system“, stressed Hoppe Thaller.
The second strongest fraction is the „Specialist List Bavaria of professional associations“ under the leadership of Andreas Hellmann with ten seats moved into the representative meeting. Five seats could be the list of „Bavarian Specialist Association“ reach with the top candidate Ilka Martina Enger. Two seats each went to the list of „Professional associations of general practitioners in Bavaria“ with top candidate Gabriel Schmidt, the list „Excellent quality for doctor and patient“ under the leadership of Axel Munte and the „Boy list for kids and teenagers“ with Roland Ulmer at the top. A seat reached the „Doctors list Bavaria“ with top candidate Wolf von Römer, the list of „Medi Bavaria“ under Alfried Schinz as well as the list „Speaking medicine“ with Claudia Ritter-Rupp. The psychotherapists received this „Psychotherapist Alliance“ with top candidate Rudi Bittner three seats and that „Action Alliance Psychotherapy“ under Ellen Bruckmayer two seats.
This „Vote of the family doctors for the system change“ shows in Dr. Wolfgang Hoppenthaller, that the family physicians of Bavaria are no longer ready, the „Compulsory system of the Corporation Kassenärztliche Vereinigung to provide their labor“. However, despite the change in the system, the intention was to continue the family medical care at the qualitatively high level and without any impairment. Hoppe Thaller.
„To ensure this, due to the many remaining points of contact with this body, close cooperation is urgently needed, at least in the coming years“, emphasized the chairman of the Bavarian family doctor association. The executive board of KVB is expected to be elected at the constituent meeting of the new representative meeting on January 22, 2011. (Fp)
