Recall: In "Chipsfrisch hungarian" by funny-frisch could put other chips

The snack manufacturer Intersnack Knabber-Pastries GmbH & Co. KG, based in Cologne, has initiated a recall for the product "Chipsfrisch hungarian". Some packs may contain a different flavor that uses a spice that could be dangerous to some people with allergies.

The snack manufacturer Intersnack Knabber-Pastry GmbH & Co. KG, based in Cologne informs funny-frisch customers in a consumer information about the recall of "Chipsfrisch hungarian" 175g with the lot number: LGQ 07 E 25.06.2018. According to the company, in some packages instead of potato chips of the flavor Hungarian products of the flavor Sour Cream were bottled. "The spice used for the taste Sour Cream contains the allergen milk, which is not declared on the packaging," warns the manufacturer.

Product can be easily consumed by non-allergic persons

According to the information, the packaged goods are of impeccable quality. The recall is a mere precaution to protect people suffering from a milk protein allergy.

Of all other people, the product can be consumed without hesitation.

The company asks customers to send the affected product (not free) to the manufacturer, stating the sender. The purchased product will be replaced.

Possible health problems

Milk protein allergy, also known as cow's milk allergy, is a food allergy that is estimated to affect about two to three percent of infants and toddlers and one percent of adults in Europe.

Even the smallest amounts of milk can be enough to trigger allergic reactions. According to health experts, the symptoms can occur immediately after consumption or in some cases even days after consumption.
