Do the vaccines for children in Germany go out??
The first expired swine flu vaccine doses are being thrown away and 34 million new doses are expected to be replenished in the next month, as new problems arise: Due to overburdened manufacturers, according to media reports 7 vaccinations against childhood diseases are currently not available.
Specifically affected are, inter alia, the six-fold vaccination (hexavalent vaccine) against polio, whooping cough, diphtheria, tetanus, Haemophilus influenza type B and hepatitis B and the quadruple vaccine against measles, mumps, rubella and chickenpox. Here, especially in Germany children and infants are vaccinated. Occasionally, the funds are vaccinated individually. This means more costs, time and effort for paediatricians, children and parents.
According to public information, of the 9.6 million first-time ordered swine flu vaccine doses, a little less than half are left over. Of these, first funds are now thrown away. In March, however, 34 million doses will be delivered. Originally 50 million had been ordered, but it could be traded down.
The topic of vaccinations of children is discussed in Germany very controversial. In natural medicine, there are probably the most fundamental critics of vaccinations on children. They consider the vaccines harmful and basically unnecessary. They criticize, inter alia, that the additives such as mercury or aluminum compounds in the funds are dangerous and can lead to late health consequences for those affected. Furthermore, for them economic reasons of vaccine producers are a leitmotif in the vaccination campaigns.
Advocates of the vaccinations accuse the critics of having provided no scientific evidence for their criticism and to argue ideologically and too little scientific. They regard the vaccinations as necessary to certain diseases by doing so „exterminate“ and to protect the children from possible deadly complications.
In general, it is difficult for parents to gain access to neutral and factual information about the vaccines. Observers criticize that there is only insufficient support and transparency in advising parents in choosing the right individual decision to vaccinate their child.
