Go swimming in guarded bathing waters only
Many bathing waters and dredging lakes are still very cold. That's what swimmers should always pay attention to. Because of the muscular cramping the affected person can no longer swim properly and threatens to drown. This is indicated by the DLRG. It is advisable to go only at guarded swimming in the water.
„The bath in rivers is especially dangerous. Currents, bridge piers, suction, underwater obstacles, and fairways with recreational and professional shipping are incalculable risks“, inform the lifeguards from Bad Nenndorf. Another risk is the overestimation of their own performance dar. The DLRG advises to always be critical and never cocky while swimming. Especially dangerous are dives in unknown waters. Again and again it comes to life-threatening injuries when swimmers make reckless dives in the shoreline and shallow areas.
