Consciously enjoy the sun with these tips

As temperatures rise, so does the sunburn risk. The scalp is exposed to an increased risk. Men, in particular, lose more and more of their former head of hair as they grow older and offer more exposure to UV radiation. In some places the sun shines directly on the unprotected and sensitive scalp. A burning, itching or feeling of tension announce the sunburn. However, there are many simple measures and prevention options that you can take to combat the annoying burns.

The first burn or the first redness (preferably before), a shady spot should be visited immediately. For first relief, a damp cloth on the head or the affected area can provide. Now it is enough to drink enough water, as this helps the skin in the regeneration. Another measure is to apply after-sun, panthenol or aloe vera spray on the affected areas. Alternatively quark rolls can be used here as well. At bedtime, the affected area may be treated with coconut oil to aid overnight regeneration.

  7. Check the skin regularly for changes and clarify any abnormalities with a dermatologist.
