For the dough for four people 225 grams of flour, 150 grams of butter, 75 grams of sugar and two egg whites are needed. The crumbles are made from 150 grams of flour, 150 grams of sugar and 100 grams of butter. The filling consists of 500 grams of fresh strawberries, 400 grams of cream, a teaspoon of sugar and a pinch of vanilla.

First, the dough is prepared. All ingredients are kneaded as quickly as possible. The finished dough is then wrapped in foil and placed in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. Meanwhile, all the ingredients for the crumbles are mixed and crumbled into flakes with your fingers.

Meanwhile, the oven should be preheated to 180 degrees (top / bottom heat). Then the dough is rolled out between two pieces of foil on the baking sheet laid out with baking paper into a very thin rectangle. Then the foil is removed. After the crumbles are spread on the dough, the cake is baked golden yellow on a medium rack for about 20 minutes.

In the next step, the still warm part plate is cut in half. One half is split into strips and should then cool. Meanwhile, the strawberries are washed, freed from the green and cut into quarters or slices. Then add sugar and vanilla pulp to the cream. Half of the whipped cream is then spread on the uncut soil. Then the strawberries are distributed on top and covered with the remaining cream. The last layer is the cake strips that are placed on the cream.

The crumble cake with strawberries should be eaten as fresh as possible.

Strawberries are healthy and low in calories
The aromatic fruits are not only delicious, they are also very healthy and good for the slim line. They only contain about 32 kilocalories per hundred grams. In addition, they have a high content of fiber such as pectins and cellulose, which stimulate digestion. Strawberries are also extremely rich in vitamins. So the vitamin C content of the popular fruits is higher than with lemons. Even a bowl of strawberries (200 grams) will cover the daily needs of an adult.
