Germans pay attention to punctuality when it comes to medical appointments

In the observance of medical appointments, the Germans are very conscientious. According to a representative survey study commissioned by the „pharmacy magazine“ 82.8 percent of respondents are keen to appear on time at the scheduled medical appointment.
On the other hand, 79.2 percent of respondents expect that the doctor is just as punctual and no long waiting times in the practice until consultation. They are loud study „upset“, if they have to stay longer despite the appointments in the waiting room. Self-employed or persons are particularly annoyed „free professions“, when waiting times are longer (87.9 percent) than expected.
Not only at the doctor on time
In addition, punctuality also plays an important role in appointments in official institutions (78.1 percent). Maintaining the service is for 86.7 percent of high value. Business appointments also play an important role. Punctuality is also capitalized here with 76.8 percent.
The survey was commissioned by the online edition of „pharmacy magazine“ through the opinion and research institute „GfK“ from Nuremberg. Exactly 2061 women and men from the age of 14 were questioned nationwide. (Sb)
