Insured persons receive millions of premiums from DAK-Gesundheit

More and more insured are rewarded by health insurance for health-conscious behavior. In view of their comfortable financial situation, some public health insurance companies have decided to distribute special bonuses to their members. There are also bonus programs at DAK-Gesundheit, from which the insured can benefit. According to the latest DAK announcement, 700,000 insured have already participated in the programs. For the year 2013 alone, the insurance will be them „Pay out premiums of 15 million euros.“
The millions of surpluses in recent years have made some innovative changes to the statutory health insurance. In many cases, insured persons are repaid contributions if they participate in certain bonus programs. Popular bonus program for families
According to the DAK is the program „Healthy active bonus“ especially popular for families. More than 550,000 insured people participate in this bonus program, which distributes cash premiums for active health promotion and sports benefits for all family members. In its press release, the DAK explains that families through the combination of bonus programs „Healthy active bonus“ and „DAKpro Balance“ receive up to 600 euros in premiums per year.
