Since 2000, around 2,000 hospital employees of the renowned University Hospital Charité have been on strike in Berlin. If the offer is accepted, the current indefinite strike of the approximately 2,000 non-medical employees could soon end. Clinic operation is experiencing unprecedented stoppage
Since the strike, almost the entire clinic has been shut down. The nurses work only in the occupation of a weekend shift. All operations and diagnostic tests have been canceled for the current week. Since today, the central post office of the clinic is also on strike. In the afternoon, several hundred people demonstrated for better working conditions.
