Two different fish products from the company „All-Fish“ are currently being recalled. In one product, a bacterial load can not be excluded and the other could be odor. Whether a health risk exists, was not communicated.
Possible bacterial load and odor
As the All-Fish trading company from Kronshagen near Kiel announced on Tuesday, the company calls back two of their fish products. On the one hand, the frozen deep-fried buttermackerel fillet from Ecuador can cause a bacterial load and, on the other hand, the deep-frozen shrimp of the brand „Seawork“ a „odor“ not be excluded. In a press release, the company writes: „For the purposes of precautionary consumer protection and in coordination with the competent food control authorities, All-Fish recalls the goods under investigation and has informed the trading partners accordingly.“
Frozen mackerel fillets and shrimp affected
Affected by the recall are shrimp bags with a filling weight of 1000 grams and the best before date 8 December 2015 with the lot number L JJSF / PINV / 23-D72013-14. For buttermackerel fillets, products with batch number L PI-20-09-2012 and a best-before date are affected until the end of September 2014. According to Lebensmittelwarnung.de, the shrimp were marketed in Bavaria, Hamburg, Hesse, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Lower Saxony, Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein, Thuringia and Saarland. And the mackerel fillets in Bavaria, Lower Saxony, the Saarland and Schleswig-Holstein.
