Doctor attacked by patient with frying pan
A doctor from the district Miltenberg was attacked during a home visit by a 82 year old pensioner with a frying pan. Previously, the apparently mentally confused man had threatened the physician with a gun. And that, even though the patient had called the doctor himself because of pain.
This is not a good idea for a doctor being called to a patient: A doctor was on a home visit by a mentally disturbed man with a frying pan and physically attacked. The doctor then called the police. Even before the officials arrived, the doctor was able to disarm the 82-year-old and steal the pan. Previously, the older man had contacted the doctor because he felt pain.
In the course of the investigation, the man suddenly pulled out a revolver. The man spoke of an alleged conspiracy against which he wanted to defend himself. When the patient dropped the gun in a moment, the doctor took the moment and stole the weapon. From this developed a short argument, the pensioner immediately reached for a frying pan and hit the doctor with it on the head. The physician then suffered a slight head injury. By the time the police arrived, the doctor locked the confused man in the kitchen. The police then sent the man to a clinic where he is currently undergoing psychiatric examinations. (sb, 05.11.2010)
