The general local health insurance AOK Bayern will continue to waive the establishment of an additional contribution. This was announced by the chairman of the health insurance company on Wednesday in Munich.

Insured of the AOK Bayern can be happy. The health insurance waives the introduction of an additional contribution. According to the chairman of the board Helmut Platzer, the local health insurance fund has a stable budget and will likely complete the current year 2011 with a surplus. The members of the fund can prepare to start the coming year 2012 without additional contributions. The Bavarian AOK currently has around 4.3 million people covered by health insurance. The cash register indicates its annual budget volume with a good 11 billion euros. How high the surplus will be, the cashier did not estimate.

After the end of the City BKK still raise 12 health insurance companies an additional contribution. Most health insurance companies with additional contribution charge eight euros per month and member.
