Instead of tablets natural tricks for headaches
In headaches, many people inevitably resort to medicines such as ibuprofen, aspirin or acetaminophen, but in many cases simple home remedies for headaches can achieve a similarly good effect. Coffee with lemon, lemon balm, ginger, vegetable juice or apple cider vinegar are known as proven home remedies in natural medicine.
The handle to painkillers is often preventable in headaches with the help of relatively simple tricks, but the complaints can also be based on serious illnesses, which is why a repeated medical examination is strongly advised. Headaches that are not due to serious illnesses can be successfully treated with various internal and external home remedies.
Coffee with lemon
The coffee with lemon, for example, stimulates the circulation in the brain and helps in many cases to resolve the headache. A few drops of lemon balm on a piece of sugar and taken, can also act against the headache. Even a tea made from fresh ginger or vegetable juices from carrots, cucumbers and beetroot often have a soothing effect. In addition, two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar can be mixed in a glass of water and drunk as an internal home remedy for headaches.
Neck massage and heat
Externally promises, for example, a neck massage - possibly with additional use of peppermint essential oil - in tension headaches, as they often occur after a long day in front of the computer in the office, significant relief. In addition, heat helps against headaches, which are caused by tensions in the neck area. A warmed cherry stone pillow or a hot water bottle causes a relaxation of the tense muscles and in this way a relaxation of the tension headache. Similarly, a full bath, which is optionally enriched with a few drops of lavender essential oil, help to relax the muscles. (Fp)
