More and more Germans resort to homeopathy

Homeopathy is increasingly recognized among Germans. According to a recent survey, 60 percent of Germans are already using homeopathic preparations. That reports „pharmacy magazine“ in her new issue.

More and more Germans use homeopathic remedies. In 1970, just under a quarter applied the alternative medicine, reported the pharmacies Umschau. According to pharmaceutical manufacturers, in 2009 it was already twice as many. By 2014, the share jumped to more than 60 percent.

Asked about the background, responded the study participants, homeopathy was „easy to use, very well tolerated, there are hardly any side effects and even children can take the small globules well“. Almost nine in ten patients have already helped homeopathy with their own perception. By far the most common homeopathic remedies have been successfully used for nausea and influenza infections.
