The economic success of your naturopathic practice depends not insignificantly on how successfully you bill your services. We want to support you regularly with our billing tips. Today's example deals with the proper billing of bioresonance therapy.
Question: One of my patients is insured with 90% at Barmenia. The cost of treatment by a naturopath takes over the fund up to 1,000 euros per year, depending on the fee and the Hufelandverzeichnis. The latter lists bioresonance therapy. I have diagnosed the patient with a wheat intolerance that I will treat with bioresonance. What amounts can I enter for item 16.3 (bioelectronic functional diagnostics)? Go e.g. 50,00 Euro?
Answer Siegfried Kämper:
If a procedure is listed in the Hufelandverzeichnis, this only means that it is generally recognized, but not paid in what amount.
However, you can use the number 16.3 of the fee for bioresonance, because the EAV is also mentioned in the Hufeland index. You can supplement accordingly: "Bioresonance according to Hufelandverzeichnis". You can do this analogously to the point. 2 settle (this note you will also find in Hufelandverzeichnis). Basically, you must stay with the amounts within the GebüH framework.
Conclusion: Choose fee numbers that make sense and that will help you at the end of the treatment. By pointing to an EAV / Bioresonanzherapie you show honestly what you have done. The Barmenia should then refund the amount mentioned in the contract for HP services. In the most favorable case, this could mean the maximum fee of EUR 41.00 for the no. 16.3. his.
If you pay attention to the numbers 1 + 2 + 5 for the first treatment and 1 + 5 every four weeks (always in addition to clause 16.3), then you probably have more than 51.00 EUR per treatment over the entire treatment period, even if You at the number 16.3 max. 41.00 EUR.
