Cheyne Kobzoff was 33 years old when he decided to give up drinking. Previously, the American had been an alcoholic for years and had by his enormous alcohol consumption strong overweight.
The cold withdrawal to which he decided to help him leave his alcoholism behind and lose 24 kilograms within a year.
On the website "Reddit" he posted a before-and-after photo, which shows clearly how well the man has done the abstinence.
He commented on the picture, explaining that a year without alcohol made him "a thousand times happier".
But not only the renunciation of alcohol, but also sports has helped him feel better and he weighs less.
Healthy lifestyle with a lot of movement
In an interview with the magazine "Vice" Kobzoff said that he had already started to drink at the age of 15 years. Over the years, his alcohol consumption has been growing. "At some point I got twelve beers a night and then one or two glasses of wine," he told the magazine.
"I started drinking to get my inner turmoil under control. After I had stopped, this inner turmoil was not really gone, "said the 33-year-old.
As a consolation, he first stuffed tons of sweets and drank a lot of lemonade. However, about a month later, he changed his lifestyle and started walking, getting faster and faster. He also did sit-ups and started deadlifting, squats and bench presses.
