The television station 3sat reports extensively on homeopathy and asks: healing or humbug?

It is the most popular alternative cure in Germany - and it is controversial: homeopathy. Every second patient in Germany has ever taken a homeopathic remedy, about every 40th doctor in Germany already has a homeopathic additional education. There are also innumerable alternative practitioners who also treat homeopathically. On Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 8:15 pm, the broadcaster 3sat will focus on the topic of homeopathy for the best television time. The announcement text does not bode well.

Thinking is already the tenor of the announcement. There is talk of a huge business with homeopathic medicines. According to the expenditure in Germany for homeopathic therapy would be 400 million euros per year, which is quite true. It is concealed that the turnover for all medicines of special therapeutic directions does not even amount to 1.5% of total drug sales. Accordingly, the huge business apparently takes place elsewhere. It remains to be seen whether the creators of the program will also address this topic.
