Circulatory problems in humid weather
Because of the high heat, 18 students collapsed on Friday at a sports festival at a comprehensive school in Leverkusen, reports the news agency dpa. A spokesman for the fire department said that some of them had been taken to the hospital, the others could be treated on an outpatient basis. The adolescents had circulatory problems and respiratory problems at temperatures of over 25 degrees in the national youth games in humid weather. The deployment involved numerous rescue teams. The sports event was canceled by the school.
Drink a lot to prevent
