Strengthen intestinal flora

A healthy intestinal flora means the coexistence of billions of different bacteria. Between 100 and 400 different types of bacteria live there together, usually in a healthy, natural balance. From the intestine, about 80 percent of the human immune system is controlled. Here are various vitamins, such as K, B2, B12, folic acid and biotin produced. These physiological bacteria form a barrier against invaders and activate the body's defense. However, it works only when the intestinal flora is in balance.

Tarnished intestine due to unfavorable diet

As a result of the disturbed intestinal flora sufferers often suffer from a weakened intestine. The main reason for this is an unhealthy, too fatty and too protein-rich diet. Excess, especially animal protein is deposited in the intestine. This slag displaces the "good" intestinal bacteria and the "bad" can spread more and more. These include the physical defenses. Frequent infections are spreading. Under certain circumstances, those affected with a variety of indigestion, fatigue and allergies to fight.

How to recognize a disturbed intestinal flora?

The diagnosis "disturbed intestinal flora" can be made on the basis of a detailed medical history in connection with a stool examination. In the stool examination, the bacteria in the intestine are determined and determined whether there may be digestive residues in the stool, and whether allergic components play a role.

Colon cleansing for preparation

A colon cleansing is the prerequisite for building a healthy intestinal flora. This means that first the intestine must be freed from the harmful ballast, before even a colon cleansing can help. Cleaning can be carried out by various methods and means. These are to be determined depending on the starting position of the person concerned and depending on the complaint. So herbal remedies are used as well as, for example, the colon hydrotherapy, in which the intestine is cleaned with enemas. Under certain circumstances, an antifungal (against fungi) therapy is needed.

An old proven home remedy for natural colon cleansing are psyllium husks. Because these swell up in the intestine and can thereby soften fecal deposits on the intestinal walls and bind liberated decay products, so that they get out of the body with the defecation. It is important that you always drink enough still water (at least 200 ml) for each intake of psyllium. Otherwise it may lead to an increase in symptoms or even intestinal obstruction.

Good support in cleaning the intestines offers healing clay. Because this is able to bind toxins, metabolites and harmful bacteria and thereby detoxifies. Since it can also bind excess stomach acid, it is also considered one of the best home remedies for heartburn.

Bitter plants such as dandelion, stinging nettle or artichoke can help the body combat harmful intestinal germs. In general, a colon cleansing should be considered as a cure, which lasts around two to four weeks.

Course of a colon rehabilitation

After colon cleansing, bowel cleansing can begin. Again, there are many different treatment options. Those affected get lactic acid-producing germs such as lactobacilli and bifidobacteria in high doses. Another possibility is the ingestion of coli bacteria and other germ species. Subsequently, the physiological intestinal bacteria are then usually fed, that is, it is trying to stimulate the proliferation of lactic acid formers by administration of indigestible oligosaccharides, such as inulin and oligofructose.

Accompanying measures on the way to a healthy intestine

A change in diet is often part of the treatment. The more processed finished products are replaced by freshly prepared, nutrient-rich meals from basic foods, the faster a therapeutic success occurs. As far as possible avoid using fat, animal protein, sweet and white flour products, and prefer to use base-forming fruits and vegetables, such as apples, pears, berries, broccoli, peas, spinach and lettuce, such as coconut oil. Arugula, endives or Lollo Rosso.

Other basic foods include almonds, various herbs (such as oregano, chervil, marjoram), boletus mushrooms, mushrooms and potatoes. Basic drinks include vegetable juices and green tea.

It is advisable to drink high-quality and non-carbonated water during the rehabilitation of the intestine. The more they absorb, the faster the toxins can be flushed out of the body. Two to three liters should be a day, ideally as a supplement to fresh vegetable and herbal juices, which provide the body with many important nutrients.

A colon cleansing lasts four to six weeks. Of course, the healthy diet should of course be maintained even after the procedure has been carried out. The procedure should only be carried out under the guidance of a non-medical practitioner.

Healthy power from the blender: Green smoothies made easy

Natural juices such as e.g. Apple and carrot juice and fruit and vegetable smoothies, with their valuable ingredients, provide excellent detoxification support and should be on the menu daily during colon cleansing. Ideal are green smoothies, because "greens" such as salads, baby spinach, wild herbs or cabbage vegetables are particularly rich in certain vital substances that contribute to the health of the intestine.

For example, a celery and carrot smoothie is delicious and quickly prepared.
For this you need:
2 celery stalks
2 carrots
5-6 leaves of romaine lettuce
3 parsley branches
2 dill branches,
1 small tuber beetroot and, depending on your taste, a clove of garlic.
Clean the ingredients thoroughly under running water and remove all dirt. Now the fruits and vegetables are cut into coarser pieces and processed with some high quality water in the blender to a drink.

Effective self-help: Instructions for a soothing abdominal massage

A self-made abdominal massage supports the detoxification and purification and is therefore particularly well suited as an accompanying measure in building up the intestinal flora.

Particularly effective is a massage, if it is carried out during the intestinal rehabilitation once or twice a day, the first passage is ideally in the morning lying still in bed. The second treatment will be carried out according to your personal schedule, e.g. after work in the late afternoon or just before going to sleep. For each operation, you should plan about ten minutes, depending on your taste, you can use a natural oil as an aid.

Lie easily on her bed or, for example. A yoga mat and gently bend your knees for a better relaxation of the abdominals. If you like it more comfortable, you can also put a pillow under your knees. Place your hands flat on your upper abdomen and gently and slowly stroke your right hand towards the belly button. Then the movement is repeated with the left hand.

Now place your hands around your navel so that they form a triangle. Breathe consciously and slowly on and off and concentrate only on yourself - you will soon notice how pleasant the heat emanating from the hands acts. Then massage your stomach with your right hand (opposite clockwise) in small circles, but this is not raised.

It follows the left hand (in the Clockwise), then rotate both hands simultaneously. Note that you continue to massage the right and the left in the clockwise direction - which is usually no problem after some practice. (Non-medical practitioner Susanne C. Waschke, nr, updated on 10.6.2016)
