Crystal
The drug, known as Crystal or Crystal Meth, is based on the active ingredient methamphetamine and puts users in a euphoric state with increased performance and various other effects, including hallucinations. As the effect subsides, severe states of exhaustion become apparent and users quickly develop mental dependency. Regular consumption of crystals usually leads to a rapid physical deterioration, which can manifest itself, for example, in increased skin irritations, tooth damage, weight loss, stomach discomfort, cardiac arrhythmia and kidney damage. In addition, there are possible psychological problems such as paranoid delusions and anxiety disorders, depression and other psychoses as well as impaired concentration and memory. Overdose can cause severe cardiovascular problems and, in the worst case scenario, death. (Fp)
