subsidy
The aid for medical care in the event of sickness is an essential element of German civil service law, but it is only applied to non-social insurance officials. Part of the costs previously paid by those affected will be reimbursed retroactively. The medical expenditure covered by the aid is laid down in the State aid regulations and rules at the level of the Länder. In addition to care in the event of illness, medical benefits in the context of a childbirth as well as expenses due to long-term care and death are also part of the subsidy.
The legal term assistance describes a criminal offense in which someone acts as a vicarious agent of another in the performance of a criminal offense. Extremely contentious in this context is the so-called assisted suicide (active euthanasia), which until today causes controversial discussions. (Fp)
