Asian bush mosquito

The Asian bush mosquito was originally distributed mainly on the Asian continent, but this mosquito species was already in North America and recently also increasingly settled in Europe. In Germany, the Asiatic bush mosquito has been detected so far, especially in the upper Rhine region, but experts assume that the species of mosquito in this country in the next few years will increasingly spread. To what extent the risk for the transmission of infectious diseases in the case of a mosquito bite will change is not yet conclusively assessable, especially as new infectious diseases may possibly spread with the colonization of the new mosquito species.
