Alternative therapies refer to treatment methods that have so far lacked scientific evidence. Especially in diseases that are incurable with conventional treatment methods, such alternative therapies are increasingly used, the spectrum of treatment approaches ranging from stone healing and orthomolecular medicine to acupuncture and herbal medicine.
